Active Conversion & The Definition of Marketing Automation

One of our goals here is to build profiles on as many marketing automation vendors as we can. We’re starting these sections by trying to summarize “The Definition of Marketing Automation” according to several Marketing automation vendors based on text from their web sites. Some vendors have a page that actually tries to answer this question. Others don’t bother with it so we had to guess as best we could just looking through their sites.

We invite any marketing automation vendor to contribute to your section here with corrections, articles, information,interviews, links, or tutorials. We think that listing a summary of your definition of marketing automation is a great way to start. Over time, it’s our hope to add more about each vendor to each section and we’re happy to have your help.
